		<description>I tried the recipe!  This was my first time eating fennel bulb. The only other time I (knowingly) had fennel was in seed form in my bread at a restaurant.  It had quite the interesting flavor.  

It isn&#039;t very fishy considering, but hehe my husband knew immediately.  I thought the addition of raisins was odd at first, but it actually went well with the sardines and fennel.  I realized we didn&#039;t have pine nuts after I began cooking. :(

For future batches, I might have to make a couple of adjustments for my husband. Thanks for the recipe! =)</description>

		<description>I already know this is a silly question, but did you use dried whole anchovies, packed in a bottle, or canned?  Or can you buy them fresh? The ones I saw packed in a bottle and canned were already flavored, so I don&#039;t want to pick up the wrong one if they were bought that way.  Thanks.</description>
